Importing Existing Transcripts to Hedy

Hedy’s transcript import feature lets you analyze any already transcribed conversation just like a live session. Whether it’s a voice memo, recorded meeting, or lecture capture, you can easily turn it into a fully analyzed Hedy session.

How to Import Transcripts

To import an existing transcript to Hedy:

  1. Open Hedy and go to the Sessions tab
  2. Tap the add button (+) in the top right
  3. Select “Create Session from Transcript”
  4. Paste your existing transcript
  5. Select your session type
  6. Tap “Import Transcript”
  7. Wait for processing to complete

After Import

Once processing is complete, your imported transcript becomes a regular Hedy session with:

  • Full transcript
  • AI-generated summary
  • Key points and action items
  • Ability to chat about the content
